About Lyfespring Counselling Services

Clinically Sound, Culturally Meaningful Support
Lyfespring stands out because I bring together Māori, Pasifika, and Western clinical perspectives to offer counselling that is relational, culturally grounded, and trauma‑informed. I honour the whole person, their whakapapa, identity, wairua, body, and lived experience, while providing evidence‑based support.
My practice centres safety, consent, and empowerment.
I specialise in supporting Pasifika, Māori, and diverse communities through trauma‑informed counselling, offered both in person and via telehealth. I am fluent in Tongan and English and bring 10 years of experience working alongside individuals and families.
Here at Lyfespring Counselling Services, I work with the deep, long‑term effects of emotional neglect, relational trauma, and unsafe environments, helping clients rebuild trust, connection, and self‑worth. I navigate from a Pasifika, Maori & Western Clinical Perspectives in Sexual Abuse, Trauma & Harm Recovery.

How I Can Support You
ACC Sensitive Claims: Support for survivors who need a therapist who understands the emotional, cultural, and systemic challenges of the ACC process. I provide a safe, steady space to navigate both healing and the practical steps involved.
AOD and Problem Gambling‑Related Harm: For individuals whose experiences with alcohol, drugs, or gambling are linked to trauma, stress, shame, or coping patterns. Lyfespring helps clients explore the deeper drivers of these behaviours through a compassionate, non‑judgemental, trauma‑informed approach.
Online Counselling: For those who prefer or need accessible, flexible support from home or another safe space. Telehealth is available for clients who find it more comfortable or practical than in‑person sessions.
